About the brand
MAKA is a brand created for María Karla Betancourt, a crochet artisan specializing in custom-made clothes and accessories for pets.
Project description
Before leaping into entrepreneurship, this artisan-made projects for herself and those close to her. Whenever someone else saw the pets wearing one of her models, they would always ask where they could buy. Seeing this opportunity, she just needed to establish her brand name and image, for which she required my help. The logo had to be unisex to break down the belief that they only made products for female pets as many owners only ordered products for females and had to show the connection between crochet and dogs and cats (species for which she make her creations).
